Tony Murphy and Jay Shoemaker are the brains behind Jukebox Jockey, the world's most powerful jukebox software. After founding his digital jukebox business in 2006, Jay found that touch screen jukebox applications available in the market did not meet his needs. After 8 years of success working with this digital jukebox application, Tony Murphy had developed a great talent for the coding behind multimedia applications. By combining the talents of an experienced digital jukebox rental operator and a talented jukebox software programmer, Jay and Tony have been able to develop software that is unlike any other jukebox application on the market.

Jay Shoemaker, CEO

Jay started his career DJing in 1998. He found that many of his customer's events didn't need a DJ at all. They needed the music, equipment, and convenience a DJ offered, but not the DJ himself. Jay began developing the product and the plan to add a digtial jukebox rental division to his mobile DJ company at a young age. In April of 2006, Jay presented his plan for the digital jukebox rental business in the Rowan Unviersity Business Plan Competition and won the first place prze of $5,000. He then took the plan to the bank for additional startup capital and launched his business in May of 2006.

Tony Murphy, Lead Developer

Tony started coding in the late 90s and began working on his first jukebox application in 1999. The project began as a hobby, developing software that would make it easier for him (and more importantly his wife) to use his CD collection as Mp3s. He spent 8 years developing this application before beginning work on Jukebox Jockey. Through customer feedback and real world experience Tony has learned many things about what users require from a commercial jukebox application. For this reason Jukebox Jockey has been designed with expandability in mind and the work done so far has set the groundwork for Jukebox Jockey to become the world's most powerful jukebox software.
