Video Support In Jukebox Jockey

Jukebox Jockey supports a wide variety of video formats. The rule of thumb is that if you can play it in Windows Media Player, you can play it in Jukebox Jockey. However, you just have to make sure you have the right codecs installed. There are some codecs that we have used to develop the software and we highly recommend as the codecs you install on your system.

Recommended Codec Packs

• FDDShow+Tryout
• MatroskaSplitter

Installation Instructions

1. Download the MatroskaSplitter and the FDDShow+Tryouts Codec pack.
2. Install the FDDSHOW+Tryout Codec Pack, followed by the installation of the Matroska Splitter.
3. Open up the FDDSHOW Video Decoder Configuration located in your start menu.
4. Make sure that various MPEG4 formats are set to use the libavcodec and save your settings.
5. Once again, verify your videos play in Windows Media Player.
6. Load Jukebox Jockey and enjoy.
